1st ICT Seminar in Greece

The 1st Greek seminar on the utilization of ICT for the promotion of local products was successfully completed at Patras.

The seminar took place at 12 and 13 of October 2012 and included 10-hours of theoretical and practice training on the use of ICT tools for the promotion of enterprises through Internet.

The seminar training included the following

  • Introduction to Internet Applications
  • Training on creating and using free e-mail account (Gmail)
  • Training on creating a free web page (Google Pages)
  • Introduction to Social Media
  • Training on creating a blog (blogger)
  • Training on creating and managing bussines pages and accounts on social networks (Facebook)
  • Training on uploading promotion multimedia material on the Internet (Youtube)
  • Theoretal background and strategies of Internet and social media marketing
The seminar was organized from the University of Patras (Pattern Recognition Laboratories) and Region of Western Greece - Development Enterprise of Achaia Prefecture. The lectures was made from Prof. Likothanassis and his colleagues from Pattern Recognirion Laboratory of Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, University of Patras (http://prlab.ceid.upatras.gr).
